He has an experience of working in India for donor agencies, private & public sector utilities, developers, regulators, financial institutions, ministry on various assignments including due-diligence, demand & supply scenario, potential assessment, financial & economic assessment, corporate plan, feasibility report, benchmarking, institutional assessment & strengthening, capacity building, monitoring & evaluation, preparation of tariff petitions, scrutiny & disposal of tariff petitions, developing web-based dashboard, project management, and activities under regulatory compliance.

Some of his breakthrough assignments in emerging economies are data quality review & annual data quality audit of performance reporting under the Power Compact (MCA - Malawi), data quality review of performance reporting under the Power Compact (MiDA - Ghana), Transaction advisory for Batangas pipeline (PPP Centre of Philippines), Terminal Evaluation of Portfolio approach to distributed generation (PADGO) & energy efficiency projects (IFC – Srilanka) (portfolio risk-sharing facility to encourage local commercial banks to increase their exposure to small scale renewable energy projects), Feasibility study for five transmission projects to expand electrification (KETRACO-Kenya), Business plan for rural electrification utility (REU-Lesotho). These mandates are primarily focussed on creating an enabling framework for encouraging investments.
He has also worked with power utilities in more than 12 states/UTs of India including Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Chhattisgarh, State of Goa, and Union Territories of India including Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Chandigarh, Puducherry, and Daman & Diu.
