I have worked for 20 Plus years in the apparel manufacturing and sourcing Industry and have had opportunity to work with implementation of human rights compliance as well as work with MONSOON TRUST in the areas of education and women empowerment programs for home workers .I also had the opportunity to collaborate with organizations like SEWA and ASK . My Work Experience is in the area of Garment sourcing and i have worked with Brands like Monsoon Accessorize and Esprit . This has given me extensive experience in the CSR area for various brands . I also spent 1 year in Bangladesh working for ESPRIT giving me exposure to the issues faced by workers there. IN my stint at Monsoon i worked as the TRUSTEE for Monsoon Trust looking for various projects to fund ,evaluation of projects, monitoring of progress etc .
