Research: Conducted agro economic research, Evaluation studies on nationally sponsored agriculture and rural development programmes, Farming Systems Research, Income augmenting intercropping/mixed cropping systems, Importance of water shed/rainfed areas for raising economically important crops, soil and water conservation, Integrated Marketing, econometric modeling for the study of growth of sericulture in India etc.
Teaching: Taught the students of PG Diploma and M.Sc. Also trained Officers/ Officials of various government agencies, insurance companies, bankers etc. for 19 years. Subject taught were Managerial Economics, Farm Economics, Quantitative Techniques and Marketing.
Extension: Village adoption programme - conducting group discussions, training the farmers, students and delivering lectures at various training schools on topics HRD, Motivation, diffusion of technologies etc.

Attended IIM Ahmedabad for Faculty Development Programme in Management for one year. P.G. Dip.in Financial Management. Underwent training in data analysis using statistical packages, project formulation, appraisal and evaluation of agriculture based projects.
