Presently working with Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai as State Programme Manager of Chhattisgarh State under National University Students’ Skill Development (NUSSD) Programme. I have been allotted task to take care of the State. Advocacy and liaisoning with the Department of Higher Education Chhattisgarh, Vice Chancellors and Registrars of Universities, Directors and Principals of the Instiute, Heads of various departments and teachers comes under my purview.
Previously Served as Training & Placement Officer in MM College of Technology Raipur and given a task to train technical students of the institute and placing them. Also engaged Promotional Activities of the Institute in order get good number of admissions in the Institute. I have also engaged in designing and printing of promotional materials for the institute. I am also engaged in liaisoning with Government Agencies like Technical University and Directorate of Technical Education of the State. Served as Manager – HR & Administration in Columbia Institute of Engineering & Technology Raipur where I was engaged in maintaining personal files of the teachers and staff.
Engaged with Professional Institute of Engineering & Technology Raipur as Registrar and engaged with all administrative related works along with liaisoning with Government Agencies like Technical University and Directorate of Technical Education of the State. Worked with PG Section of GEC Raipur and nature of job was to conduct classes of M.Tech. students of the institute and providing them stipend time-to-time. Institute was upgraded NIT and engaged as PS to Director on deputation. The nature of job was to liaison with various departments within institution, taking dictations from Director and Registrar, preparing letters, notices, official orders, making work stream lines and completing the daily routine tasks in stipulated time limit. Served Government Engineering College Raipur in one of the Bilateral Project, entitled, Canada India Institute Industry Linkage Project (CIIILP), MoU signed between MHRD of India and Canadian Government as Office Secretary Cum Accountant and my job was to provide linkages with the local industry.
Served M/s. Bamb Taori & Co. Raipur (Chartered Accountants) and M/s. T.C. Nimani & Co. Raipur (Advocates), prepared many Audit Reports, Income Tax Returns of various companies, firms and individuals. I was also engaged in auditing the vouchers and bills of the various companies.
Initially, I have started my career with a ground position as Subordinate Staff in M/s. Acharya Brothers Raipur. I got a chance to serve in the same organization with billing, filing and administrative jobs along with other related organizational daily routine works like Post Office, Bank, etc. As soon as my employers came to know about my typing skills, they have promoted me as Bilingual Typist in their Firm. A CBSE candidate completed intermediate with PCM group, graduated with Commerce as specialization and post graduated with specialization in Taxation. Having good knowledge of and keen interest in computers, secured PGDCA degree.
To get updated with the market, higher education plays a vital role. Also it becomes much more essential to secure knowledge in other fields using distance education for a full time working candidate.
In order to get acquainted of updating market scenario, completed one year Executive MBA in HR from distance education. Since seat for dual specialization was not available at that point of time, decided to go for distance education in MBA again with other specialization and got seat in 2 years MBA course with Finance & Marketing as specialized subjects.
