Professional Experience:
I have worked in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Germany and Australia. With my current organization, I have got opportunities to work closely with KNH team in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Afghanistan, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand and Germany. My decision-making abilities, leadership qualities, convincing power and analytical skills have always helped me leading different projects. I have good experience of working with Government Departments/Agencies, NGOs, Universities, Research Institutions and Donor Agencies. I have headed number of multi-disciplinary and multicultural teams for different studies, which is mentioned in my resume. I have been involved in preparation of country strategic papers, operational plan, program & project outlines, concept notes, research design, reports and budgets.

I have extensive work experience on issues of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with special focus on Education (including early education), Maternal & Child health, social inclusion and child protection & trafficking, gender discrimination and women empowerment programs. In my current organisation, I am working with Donor Agencies, Corporates, Government Departments, institutions, advocacy groups and forums on sustainability issues related to Early Education, Mother & Child Health, Child Labour, trafficking, abuse, exploitation issues; DRR, child education, HIV/AIDS, gender discrimination, Devadasi and wage parity issues. I have worked very closely with Apex Bodies of Missionary/Church organizations in India after joining Kindernothilfe and have been engaged in improving the quality of education at pre primary, primary and higher education system for their schools. I have been engaged extensively in relief and emergency work. I represented Uttar Pradesh as Convener for UP Inter Agency Group (a state level platform for relief work comprising of INGOs like Unicef, Oxfam, Plan India, Save the Children, USAID, Unicef, Christian Aid, CRS, CARE India, Water Aid, World Vision, CASA, ADRA and other INGOs and local NGOs). I also led the North India Chapter for SPHERE India (a national level platform for disaster response constituted by INGOs and NGOs).

I have worked extensively on policy advocacy issues on poverty reduction while working with Consumer Unity & Trust Society (CUTS) in Rajasthan. I have worked comprehensively on Entrepreneurship Development Program and growth program for development of Small Scale Industries through cluster development approach for youth, while working with Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India. Conflict Management, programs on livelihood, proposal writing, documentation, budgeting and networking with various departments, organizations and institutions were my core responsibilities everywhere. My attachment with grass roots level people has helped me to understand problems from people’s point of view. Education:
I did my first Master Degree in Rural Development from Xavier Institute of Social Service, Jharkhand, India. The course helped me to understand development issues and built my capacity to find solutions from people’s perspective. It built my understanding in Sustainable Community Driven Development approaches and trained me on policy analysis, strategic development, action research, technical assistance, program design, issues of project management, assessments and evaluations, concept/proposal development, project implementation, project reports, and monitoring of activities and milestones. I did my second master degree in International Development from Monash University, Melbourne. The course helped me to understand development issues from international perspective. The course gave me an opportunity to work with various international platforms, universities and donors on research and advocacy issues related to policy reforms. It also gave me an opportunity to work on program development in underdeveloped countries with close association with network of advisors, consultants, partner institutions from different parts of the world. The course helped me to fine-tune my writing skills on development issues. As master graduate in development sector, I believe that I have the necessary expertise to bring specialized skills in this sector. Did a residential training course (with full scholarship) on "Integrated approach to upgrading poor urban areas" at the Weitz Center for Development Studies, Faculty of Agriculture, Rehovot, Israel. The course helped me to refine my knowledge in urban development issues and how government can work with different stakeholders to address urban issues. Also did a course on (with full scholarship) “How to formulate a policy influence plan – with focus on Latin America, Asia & Africa" sponsored by Global Development network and CIPPEC, Argentina. The course helped me to strengthen my knowledge in evidence based policy advocacy.
