Professional Experience: |
Being a professional trainer, facilitator, consultant, and educator with 20+ years of experience in Rehabilitation, Training, Vocational Skill Training, Pre and Post Funding, and Community Development, I have successfully conceptualized, developed, and implemented innovative programs that responded quickly to emerging needs and trends. I consistently ensure the acquisition and enhancement of skills and competencies implement performance support activities, function as the single point of contact for all of the training and development needs –and much more.
As a Project Officer at CBR Forum and as a Capacity Building Officer at SKIP, I have managed the delivery of all training, preparation of training curriculum (eg: Directed a documentary motion picture on CBR for training purpose), and development offerings for the national level organizations, partner organizations in the country. Participated in conducting needs analysis and worked with government, non-government national, and international organizations experts to develop customized training programs to meet identified needs in the field of rehabilitation (http://www.who.int/disabilities/ publications/cbr/cbrleng.pdf), disaster mitigation, community development, and Skill Development.
Developed and provided timely reporting on training and development metrics, including the number of training programs, workshops, and seminars, participant profiles, and evaluation results, to different organizations.
While at The Leprosy Mission and SKIP, I have ensured evaluations were conducted on all training and development programs in line with the approved evaluation strategy and within the budget. Provided evaluation summaries to the facilitators in a timely manner. Provided feedback to partner NGOs of CBR Forum and managers about training and development programs on a regular basis.
Introduce quality control mechanisms within the training that eliminates poor attendance by the gross root community to top-level management in the organization worked with. Identify and implement a suitable database that ensures accurate record and report functionality.
Used existing Personal Development Plan /appraisal system of the organizations worked with and ‘facilitating meaningful Training and Development to meet the workforce development plans based on present and future projects and local delivery plan.
It has been felt and told by people that I am known for my enthusiastic and engaging training style. I interact well with everyone from front-line workers to top executives, and I have the leadership skills to inspire and motivate. My diverse and broad-based background/cross cultural experiences have sharpened my organizational and analytical skills.

1. Having credential of associating in the structuring of WHO/ILEP Technical Guide on CBR and Leprosy – WHO 2007 publications at Schonstattzentrum marienhone, Germany. Presented a paper on ‘Responding to Special needs - Children and Women, stressed the need for inclusive education for children affected by leprosy and other disabling conditions.
2. Distinction of organizing press conferences and given live panel discussions in DD (National TV channel) on CBR & PWD act.
