Professional Experience:
I got selected for a month’s internship with National Human Rights Commission where I worked on the Human Rights of Inter-state migrant workers. By working with government, NHRC experience not only helped me to enhance my potential on the field but also my research and analytical skills.
I got to intern with India’s top-ranked Public Policy think tank, Centre for Civil Society.
After 2 months of hard work both on field and research under the right guidance, I prepared a policy brief on Delhi Government’s e-District Portal. The paper was taken into consideration by Delhi Government Minister and was praised for bringing out the honest picture of the plight of the status of automation in Delhi Government. I was 1 of the 14 students selected across the top colleges of India for a volunteers program with Asmat, an NGO. My work was to conduct primary surveys regarding the efficacy of recent pension scheme in the village along with conducting awareness sessions on governance in the SODA village of state of Rajasthan. That volunteer experience gave me a chance to see my country through a close lens. It was my hard work and potential that made Asmat recruit me as their core team member and I worked for a year for Asmat during my college days. My creative skills helped me grab a position of Editor at University level Magazine DU Khabar. I engaged myself in some rigorous work when I joined Enactus Organization of my College. We worked with Acid Attack Survivors to create an employment, by processing the organic waste collected from the college campus into manure later on sold at market prices. This was one project which brought me close to the slums of Delhi. It was in the final year of my college I started a Department Journal along with two of my batch mates.
