Professional Experience: |
With Master’s and M.Phil degrees in Regional Development from JNU, I started my career in the development sector and I have almost completed 14 years’ association with various NGOs and Research Institutions in different capacities. My roles and responsibilities revolved around Research studies and Monitoring and Evaluation towards the beginning and in the last few years, the roles were more inclined towards program management and partnership building.
During this time I have contributed in and through the development of project proposals including Log Frames, draft and manage donor agreements, Impact Evaluation, Baseline and End-line studies, Monitoring & Evaluation Plan of the programs, Capacity Building of the project teams, Annual Plan and Review processes, Annual Half-yearly Quarterly donor reporting, Stakeholder workshops, organizing Consultations on programmatic themes, Knowledge Management practices including sharing highlights from the projects documentation of best practices most significant change etc, liasioning with local government to promote public-private partnership and govt ownership in NGO-led programs, coordination with communication and fund-raising departments to promote development programs in front of Donors CSR etc.
I am trained in qualitative and quantitative research methodology, data analysis (including software like SPSS) and its representation. I am fluent in English, Hindi and Bengali. I have little exposure to Marathi and Spanish. I am a quick learner and determined to perform well in a challenging and multi-tasking profile.
I aspire to add value to the organization with zeal to achieve goals. Being committed to the given task, I am inclined to take initiatives for the time bound and result-oriented assignments. I believe in teamwork as well as on individual capacity to spread positive influence in the workplace. I believe that this position will give me an opportunity to carry the organizational vision and to earn a valuable experience.
