Over 27 years of experience at various management levels, presently working as Freelance - Development Consultant. My skills include program management, documentation, advocacy, application of participatory rural appraisal techniques, participatory techniques, capacity building and strengthening of communities. Providing consultancy services to the NGOs and GOs, Developing IEC materials on HIV/AIDS issues, on Trainings, Evaluation, Translations, Proposal writing, Documentation and organizational development. All my work assignment demanded extensive travel and unexpected challenges. I held senior management positions in development organizations including Karnataka State Women Development Corporation (KSWDC) - Devadasi Rehabilitation/ Empowerment project as Program Implementation Officer and then Project as project officer(1991 to 2001), Swashakthi – Rural Women Empowerment and Development Project (RWDEP) project of KSWDC supported by World Bank (2001-03) as District Project Manager. Worked as freelance consultant (2003-06). Worked with KHPT (2007-2015) in different capacities namely Zonal Manager, Dy. Director and Director. Worked as Country Coordinator - India with Sisters for Change (SFC) - London. I am ready to work under dire circumstances. All my work assignments demanded extensive travel, unexpected challenges and excellent teamwork. I speak English, Hindi and three South Indian languages (Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam). Moreover, my work experiences involved public private partnerships. Promotion of livelihood systems was a significant part of my job assignments.

I completed my 10 standard in MGSV High School at Kollegal, district Chamaraja Nagar in Karnataka in 1984. I completed my Pre University Course (12th std)in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology (PCMB) in Sri Mahadesara College in Kollegal in 1986. I did my BSc (PCM) in Mahadesvara college under Mysore University in 1990. I lost my father when I was studying in 9th standard, with great financial challenges by doing part time jobs I studied till BSc. Then I joined my regular job in NGO field in Belgaum district of Karnataka in 1991. After ten years of experience in the field in the year 2000, I did my MA - Sociology through Karnataka State Open University - Manasagangothri, Mysore.
