I am an enthusiastic professional educator with diverse experiences in life and in the field of education. I have experienced tremendous satisfaction in my career as an Army officer, House master, Educator, Principal, Director and CEO in K-12 School settings catering to curriculums of various boards such as IB(PYP), IGCSE, NIOS, and CBSE.
I am now seeking to combine my teaching and school leadership experience with my passion for mentoring and coaching new and aspiring teachers to provide a joyful, meaningful and creative environment to children from all stratas of society.In the Schools I’ve led, I’ve been instrumental in guiding and helping educators understand effective lesson planning & preparation, active learning strategies, sharing best practices, reflective teaching, enrichment activities to support learning, enquiry and research skills, classroom management, higher order thinking skills, lesson objectives and outcomes, formative assessments, motivation of learners, various teaching learning methodologies keeping in view multiple intelligence and learning styles of children, creativity, enhancing observation skills, remedial education and individualized education plan etc.
Effective interventions in the teaching learning processes have enabled me to establish holistic, child centered values and attitudes in educators, which has paved the way to children developing confidence, sense of humor, love & care, passion to learn, sense of wonder, courage, tolerance, resilience, responsibility, enthusiasm, empathy, balance, tolerance, respect for all life forms, honesty, commitment etc. and competencies like leadership, team work, research skills, planning, risk taking, problem solving, assertiveness, perseverance etc.

Key Highlights in the Role of Principal, Director & CEO:
• Pivotal in designing mentoring, monitoring & quality audit checks & budgeting, reviewing existing systems & procedures for various areas & verification of operational efficiency levels in Schools.
• Handling P& L, finance, budgeting, strategic planning, marketing/branding, setting holistic processes in Schools, performance management, rcruitment and training educators in active learning methods,
• As an Educator, taught Social studies, Social action, English and PSA (Problem Solving Assessment) test for students of grades 3-10, engaged students in leadership situations and conducted counseling sessions for educators and students.
• Instrumental in developing an environment that inspires high level of motivation and commitment, in the School and gained expertise in aligning the teachers and other staff with core objectives of the School to harmonise common goals and objectives.

2006-2013: Established a progressive child centered school in a small town in UP, CBSE affiliations, increased admissions from 34 to 500 in a span of four years, with the support of my wife as an educator, established dignity of educators and non-teaching staff, led a group of 400 youth along with other facilitators in a 10 days long train journey with the Tata Jagriti Yatra, brought in 100 odd foreign volunteers in a span of 7 years to facilitate teaching various subjects. Led Youreka programmes of idiscoveri as the Campus Chief.
2013-15: Took a sabbatical and undertook a course called Science and management of Sustainable living at Bhoomi College (in collaboration with Schumacher college, UK), Bangalore and pursued my research in value education a IASE university, Rajasthan. I was also part of Adyayan Quality Standards, Mumbai, assessing Schools in India.
2014-15: Was part of the team selected by Ashoka foundation in the final round of Change maker schools.
2015-16: Became the Master trainer of Cambridge, India for English communicative and written exams.
