• Study of wild polio virus in low transmission season, done in 2007 – This lead to the categorization of districts for vulnerability in low transmission season and later evolved into the formulation of GRID concept, presently adopted in Bihar
• Developing a participatory monitoring and evaluation system for routine immunization and pulse polio in an urban slum of rickshaw pullers in Dumka, done in 2008 – A project undertaken for generating demand, monitoring and evaluation of immunization coverage by the community. The immunization activity has improved after this exercise in this community.
• Epidemiological Investigation of P2 VDPV in Khagaria, Bihar in 2009 – Jointly done with Dr. Devendra Khandait, National Surveillance Team Leader, NPSP – India.
• Epidemiological Investigation of Crow Dying in large numbers in Jamshedpur (2011) – In collaboration with National Institute of Virology, Pune and Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Bareilly the cause of death was found out to be H5N1.
