Professional Experience: |
Worked as a Medical Officer in a private firm in New Delhi for two years (2012-2014) after which worked as a resident in Dept of Community Medicine at Christian Medical College, Ludhiana, Punjab (2014- Till Date). The Job responsibilities mainly included were to function as Medical officer in Urban and Rural health center. Organizing Health education campaigns, School health programms. To Supervise Pulse Polio Programm and Organization of Demonstrations, family and problem- based -learning for undergraduate students. To Conduct regular field visits to identify problem cases and prepare settings for training under the supervision and guidance of professor to impart skill based training to undergraduate students in the community. Also included were participation in national health programmes- RNTCP, ICDS, PULSE POLIO and UIP.

I finished my graduation (MBBS) in 2012 after which i worked for two years and then joined MD community Medicine in 2014 which is due to finish in May 2017.

Was awarded thesis grant under ICMR MD/MS thesis grant.
Internship at SEARCH (Society for education, action and research in community health) at Gadchiroli, Nagpur, Maharashtra in November 2015
Was a part of disaster relief team from CMC and Emanuel Hospital Association for flood relief camp, Kashmir. Sept- Oct’ 2014.
Presented Papers at national and international conferences, Attended several workshops and training across India.
