Surveillance Medical Officer- WHO. (May 2010 Onward)1) Managed the field unit office as the administrative and financial in charge (one of the high focus districts in view of Polio Eradication).2) Conducted acute flaccid paralysis surveillance in close coordination with government and private medical practitioners. (District with one of the highest AFP rates in the entire country)3) Gave technical inputs in preparation and updating of micro plans for polio and routine immunization and implementation of the programs. (Up to date Polio and routine immunization plans in spite of large number of vacancies in government PHCs and CHCs)4) Advocacy as regards to routine and supplementary immunization activities in the district.
