Professional Experience:
I have worked as a freelancer, stringer, sub editor and correspondent with The Times of India and DNA (Daily News and Analysis) for five years in Indore, Bhopal and New Delhi. I am currently working as a crime correspondent with TOI and have been on this post for the past 18 months. I handle 15 districts of Indore and Ujjain division and have achieved excellence in reporting.
Education:
My undergraduate degree was in journalism and mass communication, with a focus on print journalism. The technical part of the degree focused on internships, documentary making, researches, analysis and editing of the local college magazine – Prayog.
I also have a Masters degree in journalism wherein I have studied public relations and advertisement as my choice subjects.
