Professional Experience:
Presently looking into matters of financial and career relevance of the programme cadre through the Programme Personnel Management Cell in the office of the Director General of All India Radio. Over the past 4 years have been instrumental in affecting several DPC meetings that led to promotions of over a 1000 programme personnel. Similarly have been instrumental in implementing long pending financial benefit schemes to over a 1000 cases for programme personnel. Have affected appointment and posting of nearly 500 new recruits in the department.
Besides the current role in managing the human resource matters of programme cadre I am actively involved in programme content creation and management. Specializing in planning and production of radio broadcast content and operations management for transmission, my diverse experience includes resource management, leading multiple in-house teams and liaising with external stakeholders to deliver audience-relevant content within tough time schedules. This role involves managing and coordinating transmissions over multiple channels comprising AM, FM and DTH broadcasts. It includes coordinating with studios, control rooms, master switching room and the transmitters. The role is particularly sensitive and important as it involves highly sensitive and critical content for the entire national as well as a large international audience.
I have been responsible for editing and final packaging of such critical broadcasts as messages by the President and the Prime Minister of our country. Have managed live commentaries and the related commercial broadcasts of sports events like Olympics, Asian Games and international cricket matches. Also managed commentary teams for Republic day Parade which involves a gathering of hundreds of participants and thousands of on the spot spectators. My creative interventions through designing and producing content as per needs and tastes of the target audience resulted in highly acclaimed programmes and programme series at All India Radio stations at Mathura, Varanasi and Delhi. My experience with radio news broadcast at News Services Division of All India Radio is of special significance.
I readily accept various administrative and managerial roles. More than once I was an Observer for the Departmental Competitive Examination for promotion to the post of UDC/SK and HC/ACTT/SSK. Very high level of integrity, discipline and administrative toughness are essential ingredients for this role. I was handpicked for this role superseding senior officials and I proved true to the trust that the office reposed in me.
In delivering my duties I have to oversee the performance of announcers, presenters and commentators who take on the microphone. These highly qualified persons are often experts in their field and are carefully chosen after auditions. In managing the overall functioning of the Duty Room I also supervise the functioning of engineering units and a range of support staff.

Affiliations and Achievements:
With my passion for social initiatives I dedicated myself to addressing needs of people in my village. This resulted in formation of Uday Dev Samiti (http://udaydevsamity.org) which is an association of more than hundred people of my village and others with shared interests and backgrounds. I played the key role in setting up this society. Established in the year 2008, this society caters to promoting the spirit of participative development using the existing resources. Our team takes up activities like cleanliness and environment-enriching drives, supporting education initiatives and sports activities, promoting thought-sharing and creative enterprise and organizing cultural activities. In the past around a decade this society has organized several cultural activities for its members, facilitated establishment and running of two schools, developed an orchard on land contributed by its members and has been publishing a magazine “Vatvriksha” for its members besides taking up periodic cleanliness drives. I facilitate these activities by motivating team members. I was the principal editor of the magazine “Vatavrisha” in the initial 5 years. I take special pride in having personally coached about half a dozen youth of this society in career development.
