Have worked for a total of 30 years out of which 25 years was in corporate sector in various verticals of Healthcare such as Pharmaceutical Formulations, Medical Devices,Dental materials and Devices, Natural Pharmaceuticals and consumer products as well as herbal extracts. Thereafter worked for 5 years on a zinc/ORS uptake program with Clinton Health Access Initiative(CHAI) across the three states of U>P, M.P and Gujarat with a footprint extending to 1,22,000 villages across 113 districts with a population of over 230 million people including over 25 million under 5 children. Achieved a rapid scale up of zinc from <1% at baseline to 28% at endline and ORS from 30% at baseline to 52% at endline in an intervention period of 4 years. The onground implementation was carried out through various Public and Private sector partners which numbered 30 at the peak of the program and employed around 1250 field staff and supervisors.

Graduated with a degree of Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry from the Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar. Thereafter pursued the Post Graduate Diploma in Management(PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in 1988.Worked as a Summer intern with PRADAN at Kishangarh Bas Block of Alwar District in Rajasthan on a livelihoods project.This project was a part of the academic curriculum at I.I.M. Ahmedabad.
