Area of Expertise:

Professional Experience:
I'm current working in International Centre for Women and Child (ICWC) as a Project Officer conducting capacity building and awareness programmes in villages within Delhi NCR areas.

Prior to this assignment, I was working with International Academy of Environmental Sanitation and Public Health (IAESPH), in the field of WASH, Community Led Total Sanitation (CLTS) and Community Approaches for Total Sanitation (CATS). Both these agencies are field based agencies of Sulabh International.

I have experience in training people in the various aspects of WASH and CLTS and implementing WASH and CLTS programmes in schools in urban and semi-urban areas, as well as in rural areas.

A good part of my job is Training of Trainers (ToT) while collecting qualitative as well as quantitative data on the field site, recording progress, implementing changes in the program, if necessary, and preparing timely reports for donors.

During my masters I worked as a Consultant with Sulabh’s Vocational Training Centre, that gave me experience in qualitative data collection, population sampling and conducting awareness seminars for vulnerable populations. This also helped me realise various dimensions of donor-beneficiary relationship.

I have seen first hand the effect education has on the minds of people and how they truly start to believe and become agents of change in their environment.

During my graduation, I worked with NATO Defence College in Rome. The experience improved my skills in office work —reading and summarising articles and journals, preparing agenda for meetings and taking minutes of these meetings.
