Professional Experience:
Junior Professional Consultant, UNDP Bangladesh
• Designed and developed a youth project focused on integrating youth within community resilience activities, building a cohesive campaign for youth involvement in earthquake preparedness, including two Innovation Challenge Funds and a radio show exploring different
aspects of earthquake resilience.
• Supported the closure of the Human Rights Project, and the establishment of a broader Human Rights Program, including working on closing reports, final evaluations, drafting presentations, talking points, and terms of reference toward program establishment.
• Assisted with the development of a Gender-based Capacity Assessment Tool, contributing to developing a matrix of indicators and grounding the overall approach in gender-positive terms.
• Contributed to mainstreaming UNDP’s SDG Implementation strategy, assessing projects across the governance and poverty reduction units for alignment with SDG targets, and working on strategies to enhance SDG integration throughout the Government of Bangladesh’s national development plans, as well as with CSOs, NGOs, and the Private Sector.
• Assisted in the development of Concept Notes, Terms of Reference, Talking Points, Project Documents, Initial Plans, program activities, annual work plans, and a National SDG Implementation Roadmap for Bangladesh toward the localization of internationally established targets.
• Facilitated an international workshop on Inclusive Business, as part of a global pilot series, working with partners from various sectors around the globe to define workshop content, set
the agenda, priorities, and ensure a cohesive objective of all sessions.

Gender Based Analysis Policy Officer - Status of Women Canada (2014-2015)
• Worked as the lead analyst integrating Gender Based Analysis into the federal regulatory and program evaluation cycles. This function includes developing guidance documents
on Gender in Evaluation and Gender in Regulation, as well participating in courses to learn best practices in conducting effective program evaluations.
• Developed tools and training modules in cooperation with other departments within the federal government to help analysts and policy makers identify best practices and mitigate challenges for vulnerable ethnic, religious, or gender communities within ongoing policy work.
• Coordinated with nine federal departments to build a strong GBA capacity, which helps to ensure that federal policies, programs, initiatives and/or services are examined for their impacts on gender and/or diversity within communities. This helped policy makers within the federal government continually improve their work and attain better results for Canadian men and women by being more responsive to the specific needs and circumstances of particularly vulnerable segments of the Canadian public.
