Highlights of Experience
• Chief of Staff, Andaman and Nicobar Command
-- Served in the prestigious appointment of Chief of Staff at India’s only joint-services Operational Theatre Command at Port Blai,r having Army, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard Components.
-- Chief responsibilities included defence of these islands, and maritime safety, anti poaching operations and coastal security in this region, as well as management of over 10,000 people and large fleet of aircraft, ships, and vehicles.
-- Administration duties included recruitment and training of personnel, and procurement of equipment and materials and construction of infrastructure projects worth over Million Rupees annually
• General Officer Commanding of an Infantry Division (Rajasthan Sector) - Commanded and administrated approximately 300 officers and 15,000 soldiers with a large fleet of latest weaponry including tanks, guns, vehicles and electronic and mechanized support systems.
• Defence Adviser in the High Commission of India in Malaysia - Served as Military Attache at the Indian Embassy, with the primary responsibility for military diplomacy, defence co-operation and all training and joint exercises between Malaysia and India.
• Major General in Charge of Concepts and Doctrine at Army Training Command in Shimla - Responsibilities included conceptualizing, updating and implementing military doctrine for entire Indian Army. Earlier served as Brigadier General Staff at Army Training Commanded, where was responsible for planning, coordination and execution of Joint Training in training institutions of Army, Navy and Air Force.
• Colonel, General Staff in an Infantry Division in the North East India - Served as the principal advisor to the General Officer Commanding on all operational matters including Operation Sadbhavna to win hearts and minds of local population in the states of Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and South Assam.
• Commanding Officer - Commanded an Infantry Brigade in Bengal and Sikkim as a Brigadier, and a Mechanised Infantry Battalion in Jammu & Kashmir as a Colonel.
• Other Important Appointments - Assistant Director level assignment at Military Operations Directorate at Army Headquarters, and instructional postings at the prestigious Institute of Armament Technology, Pune and School of Armoured Warfare, Ahmednagar.

Welfare Sector Experience
Been at the fore-front of various welfare measures in the Army. As General Officer Commanding Division in Kota, was responsible for planning and organizing significant welfare measures for more than 20,000 soldiers and their family members, which included empowerment of women, career coaching of children and implementation of leadership qualities among officers and soldiers.
