Replicating GoodWeave's carpet methodology in readymade garment sector project that launched in 2016 in the National Capital Region (NCR). Applying the unique process of GoodWeave's inspection and monitoring that prepares the supply chain for more transparency as a gradual process of bringing producers into compliance with its standard, with the long-term results being increased visibility of all tiers of production and improved working conditions for workers in the supply chain including in the informal part.
Responsible for refining standard and verification system for the apparel industry in consultation with a targeted group of workers' rights and apparel industry stakeholders - from brands to suppliers to women's NGOs to homeworkers themselves. Preparing homeworker guidelines, along with tailoring the inspection and monitoring protocol to the specific circumstances of the targeted supply chains in the readymade garment sector such as gender considerations.
