Ensure successful implementation of Girl Icon program in all the states with 100% responsibility and accountability with effective management and leadership.
Program Planning and Implementation
? Develop overall program implementation and operations plans to achieve high-quality programming in line with the objectives, donor requirement/grant agreements,and budget.
? Ensure smooth implementation of GI program across target states with deliverables achieved and produced with quality, accuracy and timely.
Financial planning and management (Preparation, execution and monitoring)
? Prepare a comprehensive program budget and plan for financial monitoring.
? Approve program expenditures within the authority delegated by management.
People Management:
? Fulfilling staffing requirements.
? Provide strategic direction, effective leadership to the program team.
? Develop strategies for better working culture and mechanisms for the growth and capacity building of each team member.
? Conduct yearly performance appraisals.
Monitoring and Review:
? Weekly review meetings with program team members to get updates.
? Weekly review meetings with management to present/share program progress, challenges and data.
? Quarterly one on one with the Program managers to understand the challenges and support them
? Bi-yearly field visits to each state team to assess on-ground progress, challenges etc.
Reporting and documentation
? Develop and lead processes for drafting and finalizing donor and program progress reports.
? Review and verify data, and develop donor reports as required.
? Maintain up-to-date data and information on the program.
Liaison and Networking
? Guide and support team to liaise with, build and maintain, active and regular working relationships with government authorities, partner agencies including institutional donors, and local community organisations and leaders.
? Guide and support team to build linkages with relevant government departments for program expansion.

Education: |
I have a Masters Degree in Social Work from the Department of Social Work, Punjabi University , Patiala. The course included extensive knowledge base on diverse fields like- Social Policies, Social Justice and legislation, Social Welfare and Administration, Research Methodology. In addition, I have had courses on Environmental Social Work, Disaster Management, Health and Urban Community Development as optional. Prior to that, I have completed my Graduation from Maharaja Sayajirao , University of Gujarat with Honours in Psychology.
My Fieldwork Opportunities have given exposure to diverse NGO settings where I have had the experience of working at Individual, Group and Community level.
