I have over 12 years of exposure in the Development Sector, associating directly and indirectly as a team member or as a partner with a large number of national/international agencies. I was involved in the areas of project management, at the middle level. During this period, I had 12 years of hands on experience providing techno-managerial support to humanitarian Programs supported by various multilateral organisations (Pathfinder International, ASRA, Micronutrient Initiative, and UNICEF, CARE).
Presently as state IYCF-ICDS coordinator-UNICEF, providing technical support to ICDS to develop capacities at state level in ICDS and training institutions for improvement of programming for strengthening MIYCN practices in the state. Support in planning for the improvisation of the specific operational issues related to implementation of MIYCN, BKMB, IGMSY, SABLA, AWVS, ISSNIP and convergence issues as an when required by appraising the field situation and pre testing the new tools and job aids.
Since I have worked at different levels and in organizations of varied cultures, there have been many opportunities for me to demonstrate my leadership skills and ability to adapt to a cross-cultural environment. I have had substantial experience in strategic and operational management, Monitoring & evaluation of programme, conceptualization of projects, policies, studies, appraisals and reviews.
