Professional Experience: |
I started my professional career with RINAC India Ltd., Bangalore as Product Development Engineer and my work domain primarily was Technical & Market Research for Solar Photovoltaic Systems. After that I Joined Steinbeis India (2E Knowledge Ventures) as Project Engineer - Solar Photovoltaic and performed duties of design of Solar PV Projects, Planning, Coordination and Execution. After that I moved to Guwahati, Assam and Joined Sun-Power Energy Solutions as Project Engineer - Solar Photovoltaic wherein my duties involved starting from Design of Solar PV Systems to Supervision of installation of Systems on ground. After that, I Joined Assam Hydrocarbon & Energy Company Limited, a Assam Govt PSU wherein I worked as Technical Consultant and my duties involved Technical Reports preparation, Tender Document Preparation, Bid Evaluation and Site Supervision of Awareness Campaigns run by AHECL for promotion of Solar Lighting Systems in Assam.
Presently I am working in Ministry of New & Renewable Energy, Govt. of India, as Technical Officer in MNRE-UNDP/GEF Project on "Scale Up of Access to Clean Energy for Rural Productive Uses". The Aim of the Project is to enhance use of Clean Energy for Productive Uses in Un-served and Under-served rural areas. The Project is being now implemented in 19 districts located in the three States of Assam, Madhya Pradesh and Odisha. My Role in the Project is to Prepare Technical Documents, Tenders, Evaluation of Bids, Coordinating with the State Nodal Agencies of the three States for proper execution of Project Tasks etc in the States and Coordination with UNDP from time to time to see that Project Objectives are met.

I did my schooling up to 10th from Shillong Vidyalaya in Shillong, Meghalaya and 10 + 2 from Sankardev College in Shillong, Meghalaya as well. After that I did my Engineering from Mechanical Engineering Department in IIT Delhi and completed my Bachelors in 2010.
