Manager, Fundraising & Communication Sshrishti, New Delhi ~January 2019 to Present Objective - to strategise and systematize all fundraising and communication activities of the organization.
Responsibilities include • Manage all Fundraising, Communication, and Social Media Outreach for the Organization through a team of two executives. • Plan, strategise, and execute fundraising calendar, as per targets set. • Reach out to past, existing and prospective donors – including corporates as well as individual donors, and execute partnerships for funding of new and existing projects of Sshrishti spread across 8 locations in Delhi NCR and 7 districts of Uttarakhand. • Plan and execute fundraising drives through events and activities. • Plan, design, and implement all communication to internal and external stakeholders – through various media including print and digital. • Plan social media calendar for maximum outreach through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin, etc. • Manage a team of 2 executives, including training, monitoring, evaluating, performance assessment and guidance towards their job roles, ensuring that organization goals and policies are adhered to and an alignment exists with the same in their work.
Achievements in the first three months include • Successfully conceptualized, strategized, and implemented a new project ‘FabSaheli”. This included conceptualizing the project, as well as convincing the funding partner. The project, being an employment generation project for the incumbents, is the first of its kind for Sshrishti, and includes providing livelihood for 40-60 women of Bhatti Mines, Delhi, through a stitching and tailoring unit, where these women get employment. • Successfully conceptualized, strategized and implemented systematic volunteering system in Sshrishti, with its maiden volunteering project entitled #Giftofgrain, across locations in Delhi. The project was aimed at getting food grain donations to be used for mid-day meals for all students in Sshrishti’s learning centres. This was the pilot for further volunteering projects at Sshrishti, which was absent in the organization earlier. • Successfully implemented online fundraising campaigns for the first time for Sshrishti, through GiveIndia, and using google Adwords (Google for NGOs). • Secured funding for 6 out of 8 learning centres with a total budget of more than INR 1.2 Crores for the next financial year i.e. FY 19-20.
