- Three additional years of public health experience collectively at AIIMS and now PGIMER; the leading Central Government Academic and Research Institutes of the country, I have implemented and evaluated HIV/AIDS treatment programmes under National AIDS Control Organisation and other relevant health programmes such as RNTCP for HIV TB Cross referral. I have supervised the F ICTC clinic at two of the public health dispensaries at Chandigarh for HIV testing of high risk population especially Female Sex Workers for the duration of my posting here. I have monitored and supervised multiple staff comprising of ANMs, pharmacists, Chandigarh Administration workers at different dispensaries across Chandigarh, Punjab and Haryana successfully.
- Successfully linked PPTCT data individually to the ANC HSS data using the PID Number against the HSS Sample Number for the project "Utility of Prevention-of-Mother-to-Child HIV Transmission Program Data for HIV Surveillance" for Six Regional Institutes for HIV Sentinel Surveillance in India i.e. AIIMS, PGIMER, NICED, NARI, NIE and RIMS.
- Got Letter of Appreciation from Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for organising 4th National Workshop cum CME on Health Systems Strengthening IN December 2018
- Successfully set up Electronic Health Records (EHR) in Public Health dispensary from scratch in collaboration with HISP India for OPD services to the slum population of Chandigarh.
- Successfully set up SMART Technology for mobile based tracking of chronic patients of Hypertension and Diabetes Mellitus for improving compliance in Health Post at Kheri in District Panchkula
- Experienced in drafting Micro Plan for vaccination campaigns. Drafted Micro Plan of Pulse Polio Programme 2017 and Measles Rubella Campaign 2017 for the slum area of Chandigarh and gained appreciation from the District Immunisation Officer for improving the immunisation coverage of Polio from 82% to 96%
- Demonstrated track record in people management by organising over 10 national level conferences, trainings and workshops in a tenure of three years
- Managed the preventive, promotive and curative services at the primary health care centres across the states of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh; managed OPD as Primary Medical Officer, supportive supervision of frontline workers ANMs in the Fatehgarh Sahib, Punjab and Shahzadpur Block of District Ambala, Haryana.
- Successfully operationalised the Urban Dispensary in my tenure at Chandigarh; fully functional national health programmes in the span of four months with regular reporting
