Job Description: Selected and Recruited by Letz’s Dream foundation {LDF} as CLF - YP, have participated in 15 Days induction and immersion program organized by RGAVP-RC. Working as a young professional in the department of rural development, Govt. of Rajasthan under the project named Rajasthan Grameen Aajeevika Vikas Parishad (RGAVP) which aims to eradicate poverty through women self-help groups in rural areas of the state. The project is funded by the World Bank to enhance income generation of poor households by focusing on various livelihoods activities as per the geographical features of locality. It implements a three tier system of forming SHGs in village, Village Organization (VO) per village and a Cluster Level Federation (CLF) registered under the Rajasthan Co-operative Societies Act. Some of the roles and responsibilities performed as a District Manager and Block Project Manager are:
? Institution Building and Capacity Building of SHG, VO and CLF as per Participatory Identification of Poor.
? Various trainings and development for SHG members and community cadres emerged out of it.
? Financial Inclusion by providing Revolving Fund and Community Investment Fund according to Micro-Credit Livelihoods Plan prepared by the SHG and its members.
? Credit Linkage of SHGs to build rapport and avail more livelihoods funds from banks.
? Skills Development and Trainings of identified youths from member households of SHGs.
? Selection of community cadres, their training and deployment to work for the community.
? Convergence of the project with other GoI flagship programs like Mahatama Gandhi NREGS, Swachh Bharat Mission, Indira AawasYojana, etc.
? Monitoring and Evaluation through MIS database on regular basis.
? Execution of special project named BC Model where SHG members are made Business Correspondents for banks, providing them commission based financial transactions.
