- Duties & Responsibilities:
- Implementation and maintaining accounting procedures, processes, and policies and will be supervising all accounting department operations and maintaining an up-to-date data storage system.
- Responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of the organisation's financial reporting and for ensuring that internal controls are in place, enforced, and reviewed periodically for conformance to accounting and financial standards and applicable regulations.
- Directing the Finance Department in developing financial plans to meet the needs of the WWF’s operations and ensure the company is meeting its financial requirements effectively.
- In charge of setting the Internal Audit procedures of the company and will be responsible for the fulfilment of Internal Audit requirement throughout all the departments of the company.
- Responsible for monitoring and supervising all legal obligations and cases of the company, via direct coordination with Govt. Department and Tax Consultants.
- Managing the complete Microsoft D 365 accounting package with over forty internal users for online accounting and real-time data management, including its upgrade and maintenance.
- Lead the development/up-gradation/extension of the ERP package to accommodate changing business requirements.
- Responsible for budgets, forecasting, and Monthly MIRs as per the need of the organization.
- Ensure 100% compliance with financial processes, systems, and policies and manage statutory compliance-related matters under Income Tax, FCRA, and Charity Commissioner, etc.
- Liaise with Auditors in finalizing statutory audit.
- Continually review work practices and procedures for better operational efficiency; and potential issues in accounts, financial processes, and controls and proactively raise management attention to act and resolve.
- Support senior stakeholders on all financial reviews and matters.
- Provide leadership and oversight to a team of forty finance professionals.
