Current Job Description: • To play an active role in situational analyses, project design processes (both corporates and institutional , quality assurance of implementation, documentation and assessment of the livelihood programs • Contribute to developing innovative market based approaches and strategies, and new models of economic development in the domains of promoting safety nets and resilient livelihoods, access to financial services, urban poverty spaces, sustainable farm and non-farm production systems, business development services, value chain promotion, enterprise development, worker’s empowerment in factories and access to market • Manage and influence networks and partnerships (partners, corporate donors and prospects) in the economic development space (value chains, markets) in line with CARE’s core values and its strategic programming framework • Manage relations and programmatic coordination with corporate partnerships and program teams in other CARE International members like US, UK within corporate partnership efforts and quality assurances of economic development programs • Develop appropriate tools and methods for quality program implementation and analyses; and to contribute to the overall expansion of livelihood program portfolio and quality of implementation of livelihood projects • Research and program development, Technical oversight to livelihood projects of CARE India, Knowledge management through keeping track of various livelihood issues and events and develop appropriate information base, analyses, and knowledge briefs
