Dr. Tanushree Sharma is working as Consultant in Learning and Development space at Tata Projects Ltd. (TPL) Hyderabad. She has to her credit over eighteen years of experience ranging from industry, consulting to academics. Prior to Joining TPL, Dr. Sharma was Associate Professor and Assistant Dean Executive Education at Jindal Global Business School, O.P. Jindal Global University. She has also served University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun as Associate Professor and Program Head – BBA Retail. Dr Sharma has worked at the US automotive giant Delphi Packard Electric Systems Pvt. Ltd. Dharuhera, as second in lead in Human Resources, where she was responsible for managing almost the entire spectrum of HR. She has also worked as Zonal Trainer-Customer Care at Punwire Mobile Communication Ltd. Dehradun.
Dr. Sharma has acted as program director and resource person for many management development programs. She has conducted several workshops on Competency Mapping, Assessment Center, Behavioral Event Interviewing, Goal Setting, Building and Leading Teams, Managing Change, Performance Management, Negotiating Skills, Transactional Analysis, and Personal Effectiveness.
Dr. Sharma has trained senior and middle level executives of national and international public and private sector organizations. She has held sessions in European Union’s project for capability building of Indian aviation sector, jointly executed by UPES and Fachhochschule Frankfurt am Main University of Applied Sciences, Frankfurt, Germany.
She has conducted training sessions for, Center of Tibetan Administration, Bapex Oil and PetroBangla, Bangladesh, executives from aviation and energy sectors- Oil India, IOCL, HPCL, BPCL, ONGC, EIL, GAIL, Cairn Energy, NHPC, NTPC, IGL, THDC, UJVN, UPCL, GETCO, GSPC, Delphi, Punwire Mobile, Amber Group etc.,
Dr. Sharma has carried out in partnership, various consulting assignments in human resources.
Dr. Sharma has published her work and participated in conferences at national and international platforms.
Her academic assets include Ph.D. in Management from UPES, Dehradun, Post Graduate Diploma in Management, Masters in Arts with concentration in Organizational Psychology, Bachelors in Science, and Law. Dr. Sharma has also undergone accredited work study programs offered by Carlton Advanced Management Institute USA like Certified Trainer and Facilitator, Certified Competency and Performance Developer and Certified Organizational Development Analyst, Participant Centered Learning by Harvard Business Publishing in association with IIM Bangalore and Case Development by Richard Ivey in association with ISB Mohali.
