iDiya is ISB's National Social Venture Competition that aims to stimulate, enable and develop high-impact, self-sustaining social businesses in India.
As part of the nationwide competition, 10 finalists were chosen from over 450 applications across a variety of sectors like rural health, education, mobile and environment, after two rounds of exhaustive evaluation. The finalists went through a rigorous 'Boot Camp' held over a week, targeted at learning and unlearning various aspects of business. The highlights of the boot-camp included sessions by industry leaders, venture capitalists and business mentors on bootstrapping, fundraising, strategic scaling, venture marketing, ecosystem support, and debt-financing.
