Professional Experience: |
I am a part of the research team at a global research organisation working in the public health sector. As a part of the core research team, I am involved in the various projects related to the pregnant women and newborn health and children. My work entails end to end program management, research planning and execution. As a program manager, I am also experienced in HR and Administration. I functioned as the research assistant and program manager of the neurocognitive study (The Saving Brains) funded by the Grand Challenges, Canada. This study aimed at assessing the neurocognitive potential of children. As a part of my work I am involved in test development (neurocognitive assessments done on a novel iOS based platform), designing and pre-testing questionnaires for field data collection (tools to assess household environment, domestic violence, mental health, child's behavior) in rural community based settings. I also have experience in test adaptation by the virtue of being involved in the study. I have experience in conducting basic quantitative analysis using Stata and SPSS for a sample of 2000 children, including analysis for validation and reliability of neuro-cognitive assessment tools and data quality assurance. I have recruited and trained a team of community based workers in performing complex neurocognitive assessment and sensitive data collection.
Currently, I am working on two projects, funded by the Grand Challenges, Canada that aim at developing a specialised massage package to enhance neurodevelopment in 0-2 years of age and the assessment of neurocognitive abilities in the same age group.
As a psychologist, I have indepth experience in conducting psychometric assessments, case formulations and therapy with children, adults and cancer patients. I have done a fellowship at COPER-India in psycho-oncology and have worked with special children on their rehabilitation.

I have completed my Masters of Science (M.Sc.) in Clinical Psychology from the Christ University, Bengaluru (2011 – 2013) with over 500 hours of clinical experience in psychometric testing and therapy with children, adults and cancer patients.
I completed my Bachelors of Arts (B.A.) from Isabella Thoburn College in Psychology and English (2008 – 2011)
