Professional Experience: |
I have worked with various sector of employers which include Government of India's Planning Commission and Central Ministry of Agriculture as a National Adviser. I have also had the opportunity to work as a Researcher with University of Delhi, Senior Scientific Officer with International Water Management Institute, (An institution under CGIAR) and with International Development NGO, CEE working in the sector of Environment Education and Development Communication as a fulltime employee.
I have also imparted my skills as environment and social development consultant to assessment of watershed programmes of GOI projects and CSR projects
My experience has been in assessing and managing actions on socio ecological dimensions of Sustainable Development in urban and rural setup in relation to public policy with emphasis on Natural Resource Management, Livelihood and Gender. I also specialize in local self governance and participatory development.
During my engagement with various institutions, I have been able to contribute to innovative research and Knowledge under key policies related to Natural Resource Management, Rural Development, Sustainable Cities, Rainfed Farming System and Livelihood Development and Gender Mainstreaming.
