Experience
Magic Bus // Multistate Head (5th September2022 to till date)
• To enable development of detailed project implementation plans (PIP) with synchronized financial expenditure plans for the project through project leads and ensure timely submission to donors of the same for 9 projects across two states.
• Implementation of Life skills education program to empower marginalized youth in India to break the cycle of poverty through a combination of education, life skills training, and mentoring. The program aims to equip young people with the tools and resources they need to build a better future for themselves and their communities.
• To monitor and track all project progress according to the PIPs.
• To red flag and resolve issues and gaps in project implementation on the ground including complex problems related to project operations and design, working with Impact, Programme Development & Training, IT, Sustainability and Finance verticals respectively, in the organization.
• Working closely with Impact team members to ensure data cleaning, improving quality of data input by field teams, setting processes in place to monitor data quality from source for all 9 projects. This data rests on a cloud-based MIS system which is used to track organization wide and project wide progress against targets in Magic Bus, and it is called OASYS (Operations Automated Systems) Analyze data to identify objectives trends, inter-relationships, and problems and to ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
• Resolve complex and highly visible problems requiring sound technical judgment in responsibility and expertise including course content, training, budget, personnel, and operations.
Educate Girls // Program development lead // (24th November 2016 to 31 August 2022)
• Programs to create the strategic vision of the organization’s programmatic & operational goals and outcomes for the 100% enrolment and retention and improved learning of the girls in schools.
• Have an in-depth experience in Out of School Program, comprehensive approach to addressing the gender gap in education in India. By working with communities, schools, and government agencies, the program aims to create an enabling environment for girls to learn and grow, and to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge they need to build a better future for themselves and their communities.
• Remedial content development and delivery for primary children - oversight over content development and delivery of GKP sessions, monitoring session quality etc.
• Leaded the technical partnership between Educate Girls, UNICEF Rajasthan and SIERT Rajasthan for implementing the Reducing the Gender Gap in Education project working with the state government Department of Education and SIERT to integrate Life Skills Education into school curriculum aligned with NEP (NEW EDUCATION POLICY)
• Developed tools for assessing girl child friendliness of government schools, building teacher capacities for working with children’s groups on life skills, developing a strategy document for addressing the issue of Out of School Children in the state among other things.
• Worked for the Senior secondary drop out girls, to appear for the exam. Provided training to the facilitators to conduct sessions on YRC.
