I have over seventeen years’ experience of working in diversified sectors in India and Australia. I have seven years’ experience of working in Australian Community Development and services sector. Prior to migrating here in Australia; I have worked for one of the biggest Automobile manufacturing Company in India for eleven years and for two years in Education sector. Majority of my professional experience come through counselling and assessment, outreach to the remote regional communities and socially disadvantaged population, coordination and leadership, and case management and community welfare work. I also have demonstrated skills and abilities in crisis intervention and suicide prevention.
I am a result oriented individual with proven track record of managerial and leadership abilities. I also demonstrate excellent skills in liaising with clients, colleagues, stake holders and contractors at all levels. With an absolute professionalism, I have exceptional skills in networking with other professionals, Government and Non-Government organizations. I have well-developed communication skills with proficiency in English, Marathi and Hindi. I am highly capable of understanding Community issues and therefore to develop, implement and deliver person / situation focused quality services. I have worked alongside major government Departments in Australia, predominantly, Department for child protection, Health, Education, Corrective Services and the Attorney General. I have extensive experience of working with families, couples, individuals and remote communities presenting with various psycho-social issues. My proven skills in people management and fulfilling contractual requirements with high quality and safety consciousness are value additions.

I have completed MA with Clinical Psychology and BA majoring in Psychology through the University of Pune, Maharashtra, India respectively in the year of 2005 and 2003. I have achieved distinction in both Undergraduate and Post Graduate Degrees. Another significant feature of my educational qualifications is that, I have completed these qualifications whilst working at Tata Motors Pvt Ltd, Pune. Prior to that, I had completed National Council of Vocational Trade (NCVT) examination through Tata Motors Ltd in 1996. This qualification also awarded with distinction. I migrated to Australia in 2007 on Permanent Residents Visa. In the year 2009 I completed Cert 4 in Occupational health and Safety (OHS) through TAFE, Blacktown, NSW, and Australia
