Also has the valuable experience of handling all Administration related activities within the organisation.
Import document processing, Liaison with shipping line agent, CHAs, freight forwarders etc.
Assess Customs duties, making the duty requests and arranging the duty in coordination with Finance department.
Evaluate Logistics cost and select freight carriers, methods of transport, service and timely delivery objectives.
Negotiate freight rates with various freight carriers. Conduct on-going, in-coming freight analysis for transportation improvements and better efficiencies.
Procurement of Packaging and Raw materials by raising purchase orders to vendors.
Ensure timely arrival of shipments to customers. Also handle all shipping related issues.
Arranging & tracking shipments from global suppliers; overseeing them till it arrives in the factory.
Coordination with production, materials, purchase and sampling departments in order to execute orders timely.
To handle the import & inbound logistics formalities of the company. Liaison with shipping line agent and with Custom House Agent for all logistic activities.
Actively involved in sales and business development activities. Searching new perspective vendors.
