•Presented products at buying offices of large retail chains in US and Europe, procured repeat orders from various specialty shops and wholesalers, increasing sales substantially.
•Visited and supervises work at the Jharkhand and Balrampur factory (Purulia) shellac factories.
•The company also had a leather division and she spearheaded and supervised work in their leather factory.
•Her Doctoral research on “Geography of lac in India” which dealt in depth about ecological conditions of cultivation along with case studies in rural Jharkhand where Lac cultivation is an aspect of Farm Forestry an unstructured form of agriculture. Her thesis suggests that Innovation and advancement in cultivation practices can do a lot to augment quality production and consequent trade.
