Professional Experience: |
• Studying cases of the community members participating in the livelihood and mobilization programmes, documenting success stories and other relevant activities taking place in the villages during the course of implementation of the development task and thereafter analyzing and reflecting trends from this documentation exercise.
• Analyse the plan prepared by the programme teams and review the progress made by each of these operational field teams, spread out in 7 states of India - on a quarterly basis, through quantitative data reported by the team leaders against pre-defined indicators. Provide feedbacks to the implementing teams, raising questions on the trend of progress as reflected from their data reports thus to facilitate future decision making process.
• Collating & reviewing narrative reports sent by teams on operational progress and prepare consolidated narrative progress reports & PPTs for the central Operations Unit and the Executive Director, PRADAN and also the donors viz. the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Sir Dorabji Tata Trust, Sir Ratan Tata Trust, The European Union, The Axis Bank Foundation and alike. Document case studies and success stories on different livelihood pursuits, social mobilization & gender empowerment programmes, from the grass-root communities.
• Communicating external stakeholders on organizational goals, development strategies and works.
• Setting up web based solutions in the remote rural locations, mainly to facilitate the online monitoring and progress analysis process through the online MIS.
• Anchoring the development of organisation’s Online MIS, liaising between the software vendor company and PRADAN to ensure an error free end product which captures and stores the data properly and subsequently generates sound analysis and reports as per the requirements of the organisation and the donor community.
• Liaising with partner organisations like Digital Green on knowledge dissemination programme among poor farmers in the remotest rural pockets of India through ICT using audio-visual based devices and working on integrating and facilitating the realization of the common developmental goals. Planning the project implementation and coordinating and monitoring the dissemination process.
• Involved in the process of developing a complete training toolkit to train the community service providers (CSPs) on livelihood interventions and more effective community mobilisation - a project funded by the European Union.
• Conducting achievement motivation trainings for the pool of rural youth, who are known as the community service providers (CSPs), to enable them to influence themselves and thus motivate the entire rural poor community to achieve better and higher standards and objectives in their individual and communitarian lives.
