Dr. Ashish Shukla is Chief Administrator at Fortis C-DOC Healthcare. His career has been characterized by incredible accomplishments having a progressive experience in strong decisive executive leadership administering and managing hospital operations and strategic planning in medical & healthcare services.
He has skilfully managed multispecialty hospitals, health administration, health programmes / camps and health projects, trained & monitored outstanding cross functional teams. He has an excellent analytical skills and has been responsible for the concept to on ground implementation including building the business plan detailing various strategies, monitoring & support to Operations, Quality, Human Resource, Finance, Project Management, Marketing and Business Development functions. He has been responsible for initiating & building partnerships and relationships with the Authorities, Health Agencies and other associated entities as well as with development partners in the industry.
Prior to assuming his current role, he was Medical Superintendent & Administrator at Indian Red Cross Society, Delhi Branch, where under the able guidance of Lt. Governor of Delhi, he managed an unprecedented and creative renaissance in healthcare services / operations and first aid trainings.
During his tenure, he has provided direction, assistance, leadership and supportive supervision, in the process of advocacy, planning, implementation, management, monitoring and evaluation of health programmes such as RNTCP, NMEP, Reproductive and Child Health, Immunization, HIV & AIDS Control, School Health Education & First Aid Training Programs.
He has worked with community, local bodies and administration, village panchayat, community health workers, religious groups and other voluntary agencies to achieve success in delivering the quality healthcare services. He has also provided consultancy services to hospitals, clinics, healthcare NGOs & institutions.
He has one of the achievements in successfully planning & managing the oral health awareness program “Bright Smiles Bright Future” year 2010 in schools of Delhi / NCR region for six months covering around Five lakhs students and also strategically initiated and planned the second phase program in ten districts of Uttar Pradesh & Bihar.
He has served as a Visiting Faculty and Trainer for Health & Hospital Administration & Basic Life Support courses. He has trained around 10000 students from community and various agencies on First Aid and CPR Courses through excellent & high impact courses / presentations and training materials.
He was project supervisor and mentor for students from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland-Medical University of Bahrain & University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He has presented several papers at conferences and workshops. He has also assisted research scientists of key healthcare institutions in various projects and research work.
