Professional Experience:
I am a qualified lawyer from one of the top 10 Law Institutions in India, having completed my integrated 5 year B.A.LL.B law course, in the year 2008. I have 9+years of experience in the Policy, Regulatory, Research, Government Relations and Advocacy field.

I was campus-recruited to be part of India's top Media & Entertainment Company, as part of their nationwide recruitment drive to pick the next generation of internal business vertical leaders, for the company - across disciplines.

At the company, I quickly made a niche for myself as a problem solver and valuable legal and research resource, which resulted in my rapid transition to the core strategy team within the Legal Division, namely the Regulatory and Government Relations practice.
Almost 5 years of dedicated Legal & Regulatory, Government Relations and Business Advocacy practice provided me the exposure, drive and the focus to orient myself to become a Policy and Regulatory expert, whereupon I transitioned from the Media & Entertainment MNC to expand my horizons and seek experiential learning to succeed as a Policy and Regulatory professional.

Given the nascency of structured policy intervention and advocacy (supported by academic expertise) as an established practice-area beyond corporate communication verticals and external consultancies, I proceeded to auto-didactically secure opportunities for myself. These endeavours fructified into setting up a boutique Law Firm with a senior associate, that dealt in corporate advisory matters and regulatory compliances, where-from, I moved to policy research and consulting.

The experience of working in the Regulatory Reform and Policy Intervention space allowed me to examine closely, the approaches of the Legislative and Executive arms of the Government, in formulating and effectuating Policy. These experiences also demonstrated the relevance of Social Sector involvement in the dialogue process during the formulative stages. With a view to achieve a 360-degree perspective to the Policy and Regulatory space and develop a holistic understanding of the pulls, levers and machinations of Policy Formulation and targeted Advocacy, I sought and secured the lead for a nation-wide project on Environment and Sustainability with one of India's most prestigious and leading Think Tanks. It has been years of continuous learning at my current assignment, where I manage the entire Policy, Advocacy and Regulatory profile of the organization, in addition to running the entire office, its budgets, approvals, fund-raising and international Institutional grant-in-aid.

Having successfully run the Project for over 3 years now, I believe I have come full-circle in understanding and mastering the contours of a practice in Public Policy, Regulatory, Research, Government Relations and Advocacy - at my current levels of exposure. I now seek avenues to take my experiential learning process to the next level.

I am of the firm view that my unique work experienc
