Director with Com First (India) Private Ltd
In a niche telecommunications and development agency, I have conducted research, done documentation (print and AV) for UN agencies, and written two books during this period. I have helped organize an international conference on mountain women in Bhutan, conducted a research study on adolescents, abortion and media in India, and produced a daily newspaper for an international gathering on women and health in Delhi. I evaluated a media and gender project in Afghanistan and trained journalists in Afghanistan on gender, drugs and reproductive health. Recently, I have edited and supervised editors to finalise the Government of India's report on Women.

Affiliations and Achievements: |
I am a member of the NWMI (Network of Women in Media, India); Advisor to The Women Peace and Security Organisation (Afghanistan) and Board Member of CEQUIN, India. My two recent publications in 2016 are Kabul Blogs: My Days in the Life of Afghanistan and Cholo Kolkata, an illustrated book for young people.
