I have 6+ years of relevant experience in Development Sector, primarily in the field of Management Consultancy, Project Coordination, Administrative/Financial Management and Research & Analysis for Government of India projects; basically providing technical support for Capacity Building and Content/Concept Development.
I am currently working with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for UNDP-GoI Project in Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Govt of India. I am associated with the Project “Strengthening Human Resource Management in Civil Services” that focuses on Programme and Policy implementation related to creating a hub for knowledge and promotes use of leading global practices as a part of the mandate in National Training Policy (Administrative Reform Commission).
My current work responsibility includes Project coordination, implementation of Project activities, Project finance & Budget handling, Training Manual/content development, report writing, liasoning with government counterparts, vendor/agency management and other administrative support to the project. I have assisted the project by designing and developing various modules, Content/Concept Development, Report writing, Project Progress Reports, Project Budget Estimates, Project Annual Work Plan. I have also provided Administrative and Financial support along with organizing Stakeholder Consultation, Workshop/Conference including development of concept/content/framework for the workshops.
In the past, I was associated with FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry) for 3 years, in its FICCI Quality Forum division that basically deals with consultancy services. During my tenure in FICCI, I worked closely with various government departments such as Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances, Department of Trade & Taxes-Govt of NCT of Delhi, Administrative Training Institute-Mysore, Govt of Karnataka, etc, to implement Capacity Building and Public Service Delivery projects both at center and state level.
An MBA (Dual Specialization) from New Delhi Institute of Management Studies graduate from Birla Institute of Technology – Mesra (BIT-Mesra), I am confident that my work experience in UNDP, understanding of Government Projects, Project Management and related activities along-with the educational background would make me a competent candidate.
