My current position, for last 4 years, at Caritas India as HoD -PSS, involves coordination and supervision of programmes spread across most states of India in different sectors including disaster, food and nutrition security, health, anti-human trafficking, migration, livelihood, child rights and inclusion. I contribute in policy developments, finalising proposals and reports and dealing with the international donors. A team of 8 operations and thematic managers directly reports to me. I have led and strengthened various networks and campaigns on nutrition, sanitation,youth development, labour rights and Dalit rights. Prior to this, I worked in leading positions with Centre for Alternative Dalit Media and National Confederation of Dalit Adivasi Organisations on projects supported by agencies like DFID,PACS, Oxfam, Tata Trusts, Christian Aid and Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition. I coordinated or supported various researches and studies on access to water and sanitation, nutrition, status of Millennium Development Goals, Traditional Health systems, resource gap for Dalit women. Prior to that I worked with Indo Global Social Service Society ( IGSSS) for 20 years in different capacities ranging from youth programme coordinator to Regional Manager for North India with very active engagements in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Jammu and Kashmir. In another capacity in the same organisation, I related with projects across the country from Kerala to Nagaland. I supervised the software developers for programme management to develop a Management Information System. I have been preparing the documents needed for the Governing Body Meetings and General Body meetings. At IGSSS, I worked on programmes supported by agencies like Misereor, DKA/KFB Austria, Welthungerhilfe, Save the Children ( Finland)/ European Union, DFID (PACS). I am expert in grant making and handling national programmes involving local implementing partners

I have Masters degree in Management from Sikkim and Manipal University. I completed my M. Phil.( H R Management) from Global Open University, Nagaland. I completed graduation in science from Gorakhpur University. Most of my schooling was at Birla Vidya Mandir, Nainital.
