After completing my bachelors in English (Hons) from Lady Shri Ram College, I joined NDTV as a reporter in 1997. I was always interested in the bigger picture of production and took challenges beyond my immediate job scope. I was subsequently rewarded with more management responsibilities. I got the opportunity to grow into a bureau manager at NDTV's Mumbai Bureau and later became a Producer for one of India's leading English News Channels, NDTV 24x7. In November 2009, I joined the National e-Governance Division under the Department of Electronics & It, Ministry of Communications & IT, in the capacity of a Senior Consultant, Awareness & Communication for GOI’s Program National e-Governance Plan (NeGP). I got the wonderful opportunity to shoulder myriad responsibilities for NeGP from development of 360 degree Communication strategy to Media Planning and Media Production. Subsequently, I was given additional responsibility to work on the citizen engagement portal- MyGov.in and am currently working for GOI’s Flagship Program- Digital India.
