Professional Experience: |
Worked on a daily news report which used to track the CSR activities of various companies all over the world.
Initiated a bi-weekly special newsletter for the foundation which would keep the foundation informed of all the CSR events/activities done by other companies within India.
Tried initiating the paperman project in which papers collected over a week would be sold off to the paperman (kabadiwala as we know it). the money received from that would go towards an NGO which works towards girl child education.
Been a part of the team which launched the Mobile Medical Unit Van in Paradeep, Odisha. The Mobile Medical Unit Van was health on wheels which was launched for the villagers in Paradeep.
I was also a part of the Bal Vividha festival which was held in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The Bal Vividha means various ways of learning for children in Gujarat. This festival was an event which was held for children from class IV to VIII. I was in charge of an entire section in which various NGO's from all over Gujarat were conducting workshops. I also assisted the top level officers and ministers who had come to visit the festival.
I thereafter joined the American India Foundation. I was recruited as a Program Associate for the AIF's William J Clinton Fellowship Program. The Fellowship program is a 10 month immersive program wherein fellows are selected from the US and India and are placed in various NGO's, Social enterprises, Corporates etc. My profile was to handle the administrative work of the Fellowship. I gradually started taking up more responsibilities. I was a part of the interview panel in Delhi along with my colleagues for the Class of 2014-15. I also hosted a important conferences for the Fellows. For the Class of 2015-16, I was on the Interview panel which was responsible for selecting Fellows in India. For that Class, I had closely mentored Fellows who were placed in the field of human rights, public health and media. I was also closely monitoring their projects. Apart from this I had curated a monthly newsletter solely for internal purposes which was filled with their experiences in the Fellowship program.
In 2017, I joined Tata Trusts. I worked on a project called Mission Garima which was one of the core projects of the Trusts. The main aim of this project was to promote safe, healthy and humane working conditions for the Sanitation workers in Mumbai which would uphold their dignity. In this project, I liasoned with the local government body with a colleague and helped them understand how Tata Trusts will be able to help the Sanitation workers. Kicked off the pilot phase of the project and also helped launch an infrastructure which would be a resting place for the workers.
I have also briefly worked on Menstrual Hygiene Management and prepared reports on the feedback given by each team.
