I am working on Gender-based issues concerning mainly with women to fight for their rights through empowering them and providing the support through counseling. Being a Social Worker by profession we are being trained in the issues pertaining to the social issues, including the gender-based issues/violence, child sexual abuse, Immoral Human Trafficking , domestic violence etc. I have worked with the organization working on trafficking issues for six months during my field work practicum during Masters Degree.
In our work we practice social work method of case work and the principles of case work i.e. non-judgmental attitude, confidentiality, control emotional involvement, as well as empathy. Application of these methods requires regular report writing i.e. maintaining records of the process involved, good interpersonal skills, leadership.
