Professional Experience:
• Participate, examine and intervene on the thematic and other issues like trafficking in women and children, railway migrant social reintegration, adoptions, child in need of care and protection (CHILDLINE, Shelter Homes, Open & Night Shelters), street and missing children, planning commission.
• Conduct research studies and workshops/ seminars/ consultation on the children related issues and work on advocacy/awareness/ networking on thematic areas of society.
• Look out for new funding opportunities through proposal development etc. on website, newspaper and other related sources and explore accordingly.
• Identify programme development opportunities and write proposals to funders and government departments
• Coordination and networking with different departments of the organisation, funding agencies, government and non government organizations for funding and smooth functioning.
• Monitor, evaluate and prepare final donor reports on running of the homes ensuring compliance to legal requirements.
• To undertake the projects, from the beginning to the end viz (conceptualization, formulation, examination, submission, follow-up and bring it to the point of handing over to the concerned manager for implementation);
