I started my career by spearheading my own venture while I was to still Graduate, named Halt - Thal (a minor test of avert a major disaster).
My career spans in working with the development sector for over 8 years. Mentioned in brief is a review of my credentials.
I started my career with being a part of the first cohort at Teach For India and have gained experience both in curriculum designing, Long term planning, execution and teaching.
Post which I have worked with iDiscoveri Education Pvt Ltd wherein I trained teachers in using the XSEED Curriculum which entails innovative teaching practices in both high-end schools and municipal schools. In addition In addition to this, I have extended my role and have created evaluation papers and content material for training programs.
Apart from working in the education sector, I have also worked in the health sector wherein I was the Operations Head at St. Jude India ChildCare Centres. St. Jude is a Home- Away from Home for those children who are battling against Cancer. Apart from the overall operations at the center, I have involved in overseeing the implementation of the non-formal education program at the centers.
In addition, I have worked with United Way of Mumbai as Assistant Manager - Workplace Campaigns and have worked closely with corporates that have been associated with United Way through payroll giving.
Currently, I work at Naandi Foundation as a Cluster Manager handling 7 MCGM schools and work towards providing full school assistance to the headmaster and teachers for better learning levels of the children. At Naandi, I have led the team in creating Pre-primary curriculum and the lesson plans for the teachers. I have also worked on developing the English assessment papers for the primary grades.In addition to the above-mentioned responsibilities, I have contributed to the organization in terms of helping the HR with staff recruitments and employee engagement activities.
