Professional Experience: |
In 13 years of my career I have worked across Industries and sectors, both private and public delivering and managing learning and education projects and advocacy initiatives. My key skills are content development, training need analysis, research, facilitation, project management, stakeholder engagement and policy advocacy. In my current role, I am the project lead for conceptualising and establishing an industry alliance of various organisations, academic institutions and government bodies working in the area of developing and promoting regional Indian languages on the internet. I was responsible for conceptualising the vision, mission and structure of the industry alliance, stakeholder mapping and identification and engaging with them to onboard them as members. Additionally a key objective was also to position the alliance as a credible and go-to industry body for the nascent Indian language technology and translation industry. To that effect, I was responsible for strategic and tactical planning for the first year of its establishment. I have organised national level symposiums, written proposals and sought collaboration with state IT departments and relevant central government bodies and successfully created champions for the cause in various departments to ensure that it gains the national level prominence that it requires at this stage.
Additionally I was also a consultant with the European Union on a project with the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship to implement that National Skill Qualification Framework. I was Associate Expert in Training of Trainers, responsible for imparting competency based training in line with the fremework that focused on output based learning. In that capacity I have conducted indepth training need analysis and trained around 200 vocational trainers pan India belonging to the capital goods and logistics sector.
Apart from that I have worked across industries on over 100 learning projects that included conducting TNA, developing content, designing courses, designing training effectiveness tools as well as work planning, task allocation, checkpoint meetings and review, project coordination and stakeholder engagement.

I have a joint European masters in Life long Learning from Aarhus University, Copenhagen and Deusto University, Spain. Additionally I also have a masters in Sociology from Delhi School of Economics and a Bachelors in Sociology from BHU.
