Project Director, Shelter Associates Pune (Nov 2013 to Nov 2014) The project aims to advocate for 'one home one toilet' by producing an individual sanitation project which will challenge the Government of India's stolid sanitation policy of only providing community toilets.
Major Responsibilities:
• Overall responsibility of the project implementation includes recruiting team members, creating a project roll out plan and setting team level targets.
• Lead the initiative by forging close relationships with relevant municipal officers, analyzing data across wards, participating in decisions making for construction of toilets and solid waste management services.

WASH is an initiative towards protecting public health through low cost, high impact interventions that rely on community led, locally appropriate technologies
• Kickstarting school hand washing programme, Technical, programmatic and administrative support for all aspects of the WASH programme,
• Designand oversee implementation of WASH projects such as health surveys, hygiene promotion campaigns, soak pits, latrines, bio gas plants, water filtration and solid waste management,Documentation and translation of awareness materials,
• Secondary support in other aspects of the model village programme, including watershed, livelihoods and governance, develop fundraising materials and implement team developed strategy.
Achievements: 5000 children across 50 schools and more than 200 teachers trained on the workshops and hands on training.

I have worked as a Programme Coordinator with ‘Shramjivi Janata Sahayyak Mandal’ (SJSM), a voluntary organisation in Satara.
I was responsible for overall projects implementation and was solely responsible for one of the sites based in Dahiwadi in Man block of Satara district.
My responsibilities included funding for this unit. The key ongoing projects were NRM, Micro finance and women Empowerment.
