At Edelman India I work with the Public Affairs Department. My work involves policy research and advocacy on behalf of clients. I also manage the public image of an organisation and designing communications campaigns for clients. Some of the most notable clients include state governments, hospitality clients, multinational technology giants, as well as food and beverage companies.
I also undertake policy analysis and create dossiers that highlight the implications of Government policies and laws on client businesses and industries. My work also involves scenario mapping on behalf of the client and I providing viable and appropriate solutions to respond and to adapt to policies changes.
Prior to working at Edelman I was employed at the Centre for Good Governance as part of the Human Development team. Here I had the opportunity to conducted various monitoring and evaluation exercises and impart trainings. My work included providing policy recommendations, specifically during the bifurcation of the state of Andhra Pradesh. A number of my projects focused on Social Accountability and transparency, and created a Manual on Social Accountability for the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances. I have developed proposals and designed entire projects in the field of social welfare and the evaluation of policies. I also conducted and organizing trainings specifically on the RTI Act 2005, as well as on Drinking water and sanitation issues in various states.
My key clients included the World Bank, Area Metropolitana de Barcelona, Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Department of Personnel and Training, Ministry of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Department of Administrative reforms and Public Grievances.

I have completed my Master of Arts in Development Studies, from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. And have completed my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University.
While pursuing my
Masters Degree I completed my dissertation titled “A Study on the Determinants of Delivery
Practices among the Women of Rural Uttarakhand” under the guidance of Dr. Mathew George.
This dissertation was an evaluation of policies and programmes focused at improving maternal and child health in rural India.
